I try to make an accurate and reliable Lam Ching Ying filmography. I use every information and all the exsisting filmographies on the Net, but it seems that every database committed the similar mistakes.
I try to make the corrections with actual proof.
After a long and I hope conscientious search I can announce that a mistery have been solved.
I'm 99% sure.
Rape In Public Sea/ Gong Hai Qiang Jian Feng Yun is identical to the movie called Sad Story Of Shaigon/Zhan Huo Gao Yang
There are still two titles as there are two editions.
Rape In Public Sea/ Gong Hai Qiang Jian Feng Yun
features nudity, explicit sex scenes, but doesn't feature Lam Ching Ying as a chef in the local restaurant
contains the chef scene, introducing the tragic memories of the character Lam Ching Ying plays
7. But the crucial evidence to consider this movie as his first ever appearance as an actor is the fact that he played a young monk in this film.

After long searching I announce that there is no Lam Ching Ying movie called Best is the Highest from 1990. This movie is identical to the movie called The Tantana.
Modification No4
The Skin Striperess and The Skin Stripper is obviously the same movie, though quite a lot of filmographies deal with them as different ones. Also we only have one Chinese title to this film.
There are very many filmographies referring to a movie called The Vampire Strikes Back as a Lam Ching Ying film.
Tai Seng entertainment even sells this movie under Lam's name.
The site dedicated to Lam Ching Ying called Hero Of This World And The Next even has a review on this movie saying:
"Lam Ching-Ying parodies Lam Ching-Ying in this lampoon of his Eternal Sifu character.
Some may not enjoy this movie compared to his serious version of the character, but it's worth watching simply for Lam's performance alone. His comic timing has never been better shown (that I've seen so far) and everything about him is at once familiar and different in his portrayal making him almost seem like a different actor imitating himself. Just know you're sitting down to a parody and you'll be fine."
He doesn't seem like a different actor, because HE IS a different actor!
I got this film and I can assure you all, this film is a vampire movie parody but DOES NOT feature Lam Ching Ying at all. Screencaps are coming soon.
Filmography
When I searched the Internet for Ching Ying I realised there are no good pictures, images of him available at all. Seems to have the same sort of film stills, photos everywhere. Very limited indeed. I knew he did not really like being photographed needlessly, but it's a shame not to have nice pictures to remember him. So I decided to make film stills, and portraits. It's a very pleasurable mission for me, because time to time I discover that he had so many faces, so many different expressions. His soulful, telling eyes made him even unique.
